Originally from South Taranaki, Lester brings decades of hands-on experience across New Zealand’s primary and energy sectors. From working in the Taranaki oil and gas fields, to helping build the Māui platform, and commissioning petrochemical plants in Queensland, his background is grounded in real-world infrastructure. He has also spent eight years in New Zealand’s electricity generation industry, specialising in high-voltage systems and heavy electrical equipment.
