GUIDING PRINCIPLES

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The principles set out the standard of behaviour that supports NZRising’s vision to stand united for a New Zealand that is respectful, includes everyone, and is free of government overreach.

We acknowledge that our membership is diverse and do not agree on all matters. However, we agree to abide by the principles to move forward together to inspire public trust in NZRising and encourage others to join the movement.

We are a peaceful and non-violent movement. Accordingly, we:

  1. treat all people with fairness, equality, and respect differences;
  2. behave in a manner that does not bring NZRising and/or its members into disrepute;
  3. do not threaten violence (verbal or otherwise);
  4. do not harass or intimidate others.
